Los Angeles Galaxy beat Colorado Rapids in an exciting match
Commerce City, Colorado – The Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the Colorado Rapids 3-1 in a vibrant match played at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The game was marked by intensity and scoring opportunities on both sides.
Colorado Rapids opened the scoring in the 45th minute with a goal from C. Ronan, assisted by D. Mihailovic. However, the Rapids’ joy was short-lived as Los Angeles Galaxy tied the game just five minutes later with a goal from Gabriel Pec.
In the second half, the Galaxy took control of the game. R. Puig scored his first goal in the 58th minute, and then sealed the victory with his second goal in the 90th minute, assisted by M. Berry.
The Colorado Rapids tried to press for an equalizer, but couldn’t get past the Galaxy’s defense. The match was interrupted by several fouls and yellow cards, with D. Mihailovic of the Colorado Rapids and M. Delgado of the Los Angeles Galaxy receiving cautions.
