Cienciano Edges Out Atlético Grau in a Close Match in Cusco
Cienciano secured a narrow victory over Atlético Grau at the Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Cusco, in a match valid for the seventh round of the Peruvian First Division Clausura.
The match started with Atlético Grau dominating possession in the early minutes, but it was Cienciano who managed to open the scoring in the 66th minute with a penalty goal by Carlos Garcés.
Atlético Grau didn’t give up and sought an equalizer, but Cienciano defended well and held on to the result.
