Chernomorets edges out FK Sokol Saratov in a thrilling encounter
Novorossiysk, Russia – Chernomorets secured a 3-0 victory over FK Sokol Saratov in a Russian First League match played at the Stadion Central’nyj.
The game started with an intense pace and Chernomorets took the lead in the 40th minute with a goal from D. Gurchenko. FK Sokol Saratov tried to respond but P. Kosarevskiy received a yellow card in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Chernomorets had the chance to extend their lead with a penalty, but M. Uridia failed to convert it.
The second half continued with the same intensity and Chernomorets scored their second goal in the 56th minute through V. Krotov. In the final minutes, Chernomorets sealed their victory with a goal from M. Musalov in the 90th minute.
