Chaves vs Leixões: A match with a yellow card rhythm
The match between Chaves and Leixões, played at the Estádio Municipal Eng. Manuel Branco Teixeira, was characterized by an abundance of yellow cards, but not by the generation of many scoring chances.
The first half was marked by three cautions: one for Chaves (Ktatau, minute 20) and two for Leixões (Carraca, minute 37, and Rafael, minute 45).
The second half maintained the trend with four more yellows, two for each team (Kiko and Chaves, minute 52; Paulinho and Andre, minute 52).
Despite numerous changes in both teams (six for Leixões and five for Chaves), the game was not defined by goals. Lack of accuracy and strong defense prevented scoring in both goals.
