Cambuur and Roda draw in a tense match with many cards
The match between Cambuur and Roda in the fifth round of the Eerste Divisie ended in a goalless draw, but it wasn’t a quiet affair.
Cambuur dominated the start of the game and opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a penalty goal from M. Diemers. However, the penalty was initially missed, and Diemers himself capitalized on the rebound to score.
Roda responded well and had several chances to equalize. The match became more physical in the second half, with numerous yellow cards for both teams. Roda came close to scoring the equalizer on several occasions, but the final result was a goalless draw.
