Grasshopper Club Zürich stunned BSC Young Boys in a thrilling encounter
The Grasshopper Club Zürich secured an unexpected victory over the BSC Young Boys in a thrilling match at the Stadion Wankdorf in Bern. The only goal of the match came in the 4th minute from G. Morandi, assisted by Lee Young-Jun.
Despite having less possession of the ball, Grasshopper was more effective in attack, with 6 shots on goal, compared to the Young Boys’ 3. The game was marked by the discipline of both teams, with just 4 yellow cards for Grasshopper and 1 for BSC Young Boys.
The Young Boys dominated possession with 58% but couldn’t translate their dominance into goals. Grasshopper was more effective in defense and managed to hold onto their lead until the final whistle.
