Blackpool beat Crewe in an exciting match
Blackpool achieved a convincing victory over Crewe on the third day of the EFL Trophy group stage. The match, played at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road in Blackpool, Lancashire, was a vibrant encounter with a total of six goals.
The early minutes of the match were dominated by Blackpool, with a goal from J. Rhodes in the 3rd minute, thanks to an assist from J. Beesley. However, Crewe managed to level the score with a goal from O. Bogle in the 65th minute, following an assist from C. Agius.
In the second half, Blackpool was superior, scoring three more goals. C. Hamilton scored two goals, one in the 43rd minute (assisted by M. Pennington) and another in the 63rd minute. S. Carey also contributed with a goal in the 55th minute (assisted by E. Embleton).
