Barrow beat Port Vale with a resounding 4-0 victory
Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria – Barrow FC achieved a convincing victory over Port Vale in the third round of League Two, beating their rivals 4-0 in a match that was decided in the second half.
The game started with a balanced development, with both teams contesting possession of the ball. The first half ended goalless, but the second half brought a flurry of goals for Barrow.
In the 54th minute, George Garner opened the scoring for Barrow, taking advantage of an assist from Ewan Newby. From that moment on, Barrow took control of the game and extended their lead in the 79th minute with a goal from Emmanuel Acquah, again assisted by Newby.
Barrow’s victory was consolidated in the final minutes. Kyle Spence scored the third goal in the 81st minute, assisted by Nathan Eccleston. Finally, David Telford closed the scoring in the 90th minute, assisted by Ewan Newby.
