Vitória defeats Atlético Goianiense in Goiânia
Vitória secured an important away win, defeating Atlético Goianiense 2-0 in a lively match at Estádio Antônio Accioly, in Goiânia, for the 26th round of the Brazilian Série A Championship.
The game began with a fast pace and as early as the 11th minute, Luiz Fernando (Atlético-GO) and Alerrandro (Vitória) received yellow cards. A minute later, Lucas Esteves (Vitória) was also cautioned. In the 13th minute, Alerrandro opened the scoring for Vitória, taking advantage of an assist from Gustavo Mosquito.
