Roma beats Venezia in a thrilling match
AS Roma beat Venezia 3-1 in a vibrant match where both teams showed great intensity. The Romans dominated possession for most of the game, but it was the Venetians who opened the scoring in the 44th minute with a goal from J. Pohjanpalo.
Venezia maintained a strong pace in the first half, but couldn’t maintain their lead. After the break, Roma went on the attack and equalized in the 74th minute with a goal from B. Cristante, assisted by L. Pellegrini. In the 83rd minute, N. Pisilli put Roma ahead with an assist from L. Paredes, and in the last minute of the game N. Pisilli scored again to seal the match.
Despite the defeat, Venezia showed great attitude and never gave up. Roma, for its part, showed its offensive power and its ability to overcome adverse results.
