Arsenal W convincingly beat Häcken in the Women’s Champions League
Arsenal W achieved a resounding victory over Häcken in the second round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, held at Meadow Park in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, on September 26, 2024.
Arsenal W dominated the match from the start, and the 4-0 victory clearly reflects their superiority throughout the game. Swiss forward Laura Walti opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and minutes later, Mariona Caldentey extended the lead in the 40th. In the second half, Beth Mead added a third goal in the 50th minute, and Frida Leonhardsen-Maanum sealed the final score in the 78th.
