Antwerp edges out Anderlecht in a hard-fought match
Antwerp secured a 2-1 victory over Anderlecht in a thrilling match on the second matchday of the Jupiler Pro League, played at the Bosuilstadion in Deurne.
The match began at a fast pace and Anderlecht took the lead in the 25th minute thanks to an own goal by S. Lammens. However, Antwerp reacted quickly and leveled the score in the 34th minute with a goal by G. Kerk.
In the second half, Antwerp continued to press and scored the winning goal in the 80th minute through M. Ashimeru.
