Kashima thrashed Albirex Niigata in a game dominated by the visitors
Kashima Antlers achieved a resounding 4-0 victory over Albirex Niigata in round 33 of the J1 League, played at Niigata’s Denka Big Swan Stadium on October 5, 2024.
Kashima’s dominance was reflected from the start of the match. An own goal by K. Chiba in the 12th minute opened the scoring for the visitors. Y. Higuchi scored two goals in the first half (minutes 15 and 45) to seal the game. Y. Suzuki closed the account in the 53rd minute.
