Al Wihdat edges past Sepahan FC in a tight AFC Cup clash
Amman, Jordan – Al Wihdat defeated Sepahan FC 3-1 in an exciting AFC Cup group stage encounter played at the Amman International Stadium. The match was marked by the intensity and fight of both teams, with Sepahan FC dominating possession but struggling to translate their dominance into goals.
Sepahan FC started strong and opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a goal from V. Khanonov, assisted by M. Mohebi. However, Al Wihdat wasn’t deterred and equalized the match in the 22nd minute with a goal from O. Gueye, assisted by M. Semreen.
