Al Sadd overpowers Al-Gharafa in a thrilling match
Al Sadd secured victory in a thrilling match against Al-Gharafa, with a final score of 5-3. The encounter, played at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, was characterized by a constant exchange of goals and a frenetic pace.
Al Sadd started with a foot on the accelerator, scoring two goals in the first seven minutes. Pedro Miguel opened the scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by A. Al Yazidi, and Cristo extended the lead three minutes later. Al-Gharafa responded in the 42nd minute with a goal from Joselu, assisted by F. Coman, before Al Sadd scored again through A. Afif in the 27th minute.
The second half began with a goal from Y. Brahimi in the 59th minute, who took advantage of an assist from S. Fadlalla to bring Al-Gharafa closer in the score. However, Al Sadd did not flinch and scored again in the 90th minute through H. Al Haydos. Al-Gharafa managed to reduce the deficit in the 90th minute with a goal from Y.
