Al Orubah beats Damac in a close encounter
Al Orubah edged past Damac 1-0 in a tightly contested match played at the Al-Jouf University Stadium in Sakakah, on the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League.
The match began with Damac clearly dominating possession, holding a 61% share of the ball. However, they were unable to translate their dominance into goals. Al Orubah, on the other hand, proved more effective in attack. In the 37th minute, F. Kamano scored for Al Orubah, but the goal was disallowed for offside. The decisive goal arrived in the 45th minute, courtesy of C. Tello, assisted by K. Muhar.
In the second half, the match remained evenly contested. Damac sought an equalizer, but Al Orubah managed to hold onto their lead. The tension persisted until the final whistle, with numerous yellow cards shown in the closing stages. Al Orubah maintained a clean sheet, while Damac went away empty-handed.
