Al-Ittihad FC Dominates Al-Ain in King’s Cup Round of 32

Al-Ittihad FC showcased a dominant performance to secure a convincing 3-0 victory over Al-Ain in the King’s Cup Round of 32. Goals from Salem Al Shehri (25′ and 65′) and an own goal by Ziyad Al Refaei (29′) sealed the win for the Jeddah-based club.

Al-Ittihad FC controlled the match from the outset, boasting 64% possession and unleashing a total of 22 shots, 10 of which found their way on target. Their attacking prowess was evident in the final scoreline, while Al-Ain struggled to penetrate the opposition’s defense, managing just 6 shots, only 1 of which tested the goalkeeper.

The first half saw Salem Al Shehri open the scoring in the 25th minute, assisted by Abdulrahman Al Oboud, followed by an own goal by Ziyad Al Refaei in the 29th minute after a defensive mishap by Al-Ain.

In the second half, Al-Ittihad FC continued their momentum and added a third goal through a penalty converted by Salem Al Shehri in the 65th minute.

In terms of yellow cards, Yasser Ibrahim (49′) and Abdulrahman Sediq Hassan (82′) were booked for Al-Ain, while Al-Ittihad FC received no cautions.

With this victory, Al-Ittihad FC advances to the next round of the King’s Cup, where they will undoubtedly aim to continue their impressive attacking form.
