Al-Hilal thrashes Al Akhdoud in a dominant performance
Al-Hilal Saudi FC achieved a convincing 3-0 victory over Al Akhdoud in the first round of the Saudi Pro League. The match, held at the Prince Hathloul Bin Abdul Aziz Sport City Stadium in Najran, was marked by the dominance of the Riyadh team, which controlled the ball possession and generated numerous scoring opportunities.
The first goal came in the 4th minute, scored by Aleksandar Mitrovic after an assist from Abdulrahman Al Hamdan. The Serbian scored again in the 40th minute, once again with an assist from Al Hamdan, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic closed the scoring in the 45th minute with an unassisted goal.
Al Akhdoud, on the other hand, barely troubled the opponent’s goal, with only 5 shots (none on target) and 33% ball possession. Moreover, the Najran team received 3 yellow cards in the first half, demonstrating the physical and strategic superiority of Al-Hilal.
In summary, Al-Hilal Saudi FC showed themselves to be a superior team in all aspects of the game, and achieved a well-deserved victory in the start of the season.
