Akron and Rubin clash in a tight match
Akron and Rubin faced each other in an exciting Russian Premier League match, which ended with a 2-1 victory for Rubin.
The game started with an early goal from M. Palienko for Akron in the 9th minute, putting his team ahead. However, Rubin managed to equalize in the 55th minute with an own goal by K. Savichev.
Rubin dominated the second half of the match and scored the winning goal in the 90th minute thanks to a goal by M. Daku.
Rubin showed more possession of the ball (48%) and took more shots (11) than Akron (52% and 12 shots respectively). Akron, on the other hand, had more shots on goal (4) than Rubin (3).
Despite the victory, Rubin received two yellow cards, one for I. Vujacic in the 67th minute and another for M. Daku in the 90th minute. Akron did not receive any yellow cards.
