AFC Hermannstadt stun FCSB with a 2-0 victory in Sibiu
AFC Hermannstadt secured a resounding 2-0 victory over FCSB in a thrilling match played at the Stadionul Municipal in Sibiu. The home team dominated possession and capitalized on their chances with two goals in the second half.
The first goal came in the 56th minute through Andrei Murgia, who converted a fine pass from Ionuț Stoica to open the scoring. The joy for Hermannstadt was extended in the 90th minute, when Radu Deaconu scored the second goal, sealing the victory for his team.
FCSB, on the other hand, had more possession but couldn’t translate their dominance into goals. Jhonatan Dawa saw a yellow card in the 83rd minute.
Despite the defeat, FCSB remains the leader of the Liga I, while AFC Hermannstadt has taken a big step up in the standings.
