AC Milan crushes Venezia in a goal-filled match
AC Milan achieved a resounding 4-0 victory over Venezia in the fourth round of the Italian Serie A. The match, played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, was marked by a deluge of goals from the Rossoneri, who dominated the game from start to finish.
Theo Hernández opened the scoring in the 2nd minute with a powerful shot, assisted by Rafael Leão. The Frenchman shone again in the second half by contributing to the fourth goal, converted by the newly introduced Noah Okafor.
AC Milan extended their lead in the 16th minute thanks to a goal from Youssef Fofana, who received a pass from Christian Pulisic. The second half also began with a goal from Pulisic, who converted a penalty in the 25th minute.
The home side’s dominance was complete in the 29th minute when Tammy Abraham scored from the penalty spot. The penalty was awarded for a foul on Pulisic.
Despite the resounding victory, AC Milan suffered some setbacks during the match. Matteo Gabbia received a yellow card in the 38th minute, and Venezia received three cautions. However, the sending off of Hannes Nicolussi Caviglia in the 73rd minute, after receiving his second yellow card, sealed the match.
