AC Milan vs. Liverpool: Liverpool Wins Convincingly at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

Liverpool beat AC Milan 4-0 in the first matchday of the UEFA Champions League group stage, played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

Despite the defeat, AC Milan had some scoring opportunities, but they couldn’t overcome Liverpool’s defense. Jurgen Klopp’s side dominated possession (51%) and generated many more scoring chances (23 shots, 11 on goal) than AC Milan (8 shots, 1 on goal).

AC Milan received two yellow cards, while Liverpool received three.

Liverpool’s victory is a great start to the defense of their UEFA Champions League title. AC Milan, on the other hand, will need to improve if they want to have a chance of advancing in the tournament.
