Avispa Fukuoka Edges Out Yokohama FC in Tight Yokohama Match
Yokohama, Japan – Avispa Fukuoka secured a 1-0 victory over Yokohama FC at the NHK Spring Mitsuzawa Football Stadium on May 10th, in a tightly contested J1 League 2025 matchday 16 encounter. Despite having less possession (43% for Yokohama FC compared to 57% for Avispa Fukuoka), Yokohama FC managed more shots (11 to 10), although with less accuracy (only 2 on target versus 1 for Avispa). K. Muroi’s 61st-minute goal proved to be the difference-maker for Avispa Fukuoka, showcasing their efficiency in front of goal. Both teams received one yellow card each.
