Adanaspor Edges Yeni Çorumspor 1-0 in Tense Match in Çorum
ÇORUM, Turkey – Adanaspor secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Yeni Çorumspor in a fiercely contested match at the Çorum Şehir Stadyumu on February 22nd, 2025. Despite Yeni Çorumspor’s overwhelming possession (74%), Adanaspor claimed all three points thanks to a penalty converted by S. Cikalleshi just before half-time (45th minute). The penalty was awarded following a foul inside the box. Cikalleshi also received a yellow card after celebrating the goal. Yeni Çorumspor, who had 16 shots (3 on target), were hampered by an offside goal disallowed in the 14th minute. They eventually scored a goal in the 72nd minute through D.
