Jagiellonia Secures Victory in Hard-Fought Match Against Wisła Płock
Płock, Poland – In a match corresponding to the ninth round of the Ekstraklasa, Jagiellonia managed to overcome Wisła Płock at the Orlen Stadion. The game, refereed by Piotr Lasyk, was characterized by a dominant possession by Jagiellonia (60%) compared to Wisła Płock’s 40%.
Despite the superior possession, Wisła Płock generated a higher number of shots, with a total of 16 attempts, although only 4 of them were on target. Jagiellonia, on the other hand, recorded 12 shots, with greater precision as they sent 9 of them between the three posts.
The only goal of the match came in the 82nd minute, when A. Pululu converted a penalty for Jagiellonia. The match also had moments of tension, reflected in the yellow cards shown to Y. Kobayashi (Jagiellonia) in the 19th minute and A. Pozo (Jagiellonia) in the 90th minute. Wisła Płock committed more fouls (13) than Jagiellonia (7), but did not receive any yellow cards.
