Wigan Beats Northampton in Thrilling League One Clash
Wigan secured a 2-1 victory over Northampton in a captivating League One match at The Brick Community Stadium. The game, part of the 2024 League One season’s round 11, saw Wigan’s clinical finishing in the first half and a late Northampton fightback.
T. Aasgaard put Wigan ahead in the 11th minute, assisted by D. Taylor. Just seven minutes later, D. Taylor again provided the assist, this time for J. Smith to double Wigan’s lead.
