West Ham Edges Out Tottenham in Close Encounter in Dagenham
West Ham United Women secured a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur Women in a thrilling match at the Chigwell Construction Stadium in Dagenham, Essex on March 23rd, 2025. The FA WSL match, round 17 of the regular season, was officiated by S. Pearson. Despite Tottenham holding a greater share of possession (63% to West Ham’s 37%), West Ham proved more clinical in front of goal.
An own goal by J. Rybrink in the 16th minute gave West Ham the early lead. Tottenham, despite having 14 shots, only managed 3 on target.
