West Ham United Women secured a 1-0 victory over Leicester City WFC in a tense encounter at the Chigwell Construction Stadium in Dagenham, Essex, England.
The first goal of the match arrived in the 45th minute through a brilliant play by Viviane Asseyi, who received a precise pass from Melissa Pavi to beat the opposing goalkeeper. Leicester City, who showed a fighting spirit, were unable to find their way towards the opponent’s goal and were surpassed by West Ham in terms of shots on target (2-1).
