West Ham Dominates Leicester with a 2-0 Victory at London Stadium
West Ham United secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Leicester City at the London Stadium in a Premier League match, round 27 of the regular season. The Hammers controlled possession (58%) and, despite a relatively low number of shots (7 total, 2 on target), their efficiency proved decisive. Tomas Soucek opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a well-taken goal, and an own goal by Jannik Vestergaard in the 43rd minute sealed the victory for the home side. Leicester, despite managing more shots (10), only managed two on target. The match, officiated by Anthony Taylor, was characterized by a relatively clean game with few fouls from both teams.
