Weimann Goal Secures Victory for Derby Despite West Brom’s Dominance
West Bromwich, England – In a match held at The Hawthorns, Derby County pulled off a surprising 1-0 victory against West Bromwich Albion, despite West Brom’s clear dominance in possession and goal-scoring opportunities. Andreas Weimann’s goal in the 84th minute, assisted by a key pass from P. Agyemang, proved to be enough to secure all three points for Derby.
West Brom controlled the game with 66% possession and generated numerous opportunities, racking up 18 shots, although only 3 managed to directly challenge the rival goal, demonstrating a lack of effectiveness in front of the net.
