Bohemians Rout Waterford in Thrilling Encounter
Bohemians convincingly defeated Waterford 3-0 at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre in a match corresponding to the fifth round of the Irish Premier Division. The visitors dominated the game, especially in front of goal.
The goals came at crucial moments. Cian Whelan opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a superb goal. He then scored a penalty in the 34th minute, before Darragh Rooney added another penalty in the 42nd minute to seal the victory.
The match was filled with yellow cards. Waterford received four (Noonan, Radkowski, McMullan and McMenamy), while Bohemians received two (Rooney and McDonnell).
