Vila Nova Triumphs Over Botafogo SP in Goiânia Thriller
Goiânia, Goiás – Vila Nova secured a 2-0 victory over Botafogo SP in a thrilling match at Estádio Onésio Brasileiro Alvarenga this Saturday, April 20th. The game, part of the fourth round of the 2025 Brazilian Serie B, was officiated by Gustavo Ervino Bauermann. Possession was evenly split (50% each), but Vila Nova’s attacking efficiency proved decisive.
Vila Nova took the lead at the 15th minute with a goal from Gabriel Poveda. Igor Henrique added a second goal in the 44th minute, effectively sealing the win.
