Tromsø and Viking played a thrilling match at Stavanger’s Lyse Arena on April 27th, 2025, in the fourth round of the Norwegian Eliteserien. The match, officiated by Marius Grotta, ended with a 5-4 victory for Viking, in a game that saw both teams display impressive attacking prowess.
Tromsø started strongly, scoring two early goals thanks to a brace from V. Erlien (minutes 9 and 47), assisted by J. Romsaas and R. Jenssen, respectively. However, Viking responded and closed the gap with a goal from H. Heggheim (minute 53). Tromsø extended their lead again with a goal from J. Hjerto-Dahl (minute 55), but Viking replied with a goal from E. Austbo (minute 57). The second half was a constant exchange of blows, with Viking displaying greater possession of the ball (61%). In the final minutes, Viking turned the game around with three consecutive goals from H. J. Haugen (minute 90), M. Roseth (minute 90), and a final goal from V. Erlien for Tromsø, leaving a vibrant final scoreline.
