Viborg Stages Comeback Victory Over Silkeborg
Viborg achieved a thrilling 3-1 comeback victory over Silkeborg at the Energi Viborg Arena on Saturday, April 13th, 2025. The match, part of the Superliga’s Relegation Round (Round 3), saw Silkeborg control possession (53%), but Viborg proved more clinical in front of goal.
J. Gronning of Viborg received a yellow card in the 8th minute. Silkeborg took the lead in the 25th minute through a goal from P. Rodin, assisted by A. Klynge. However, Viborg fought back strongly in the second half. I. Jensen emerged as the hero, scoring twice (74th and 89th minutes) to secure the win for his team. His second goal completed a remarkable comeback.
