Thrilling Draw in Rio between Vasco and Corinthians
Rio de Janeiro – In a vibrant match played at the Estádio São Januário, Vasco da Gama and Corinthians drew in a game full of alternatives and emotions. The match, corresponding to matchday 21 of the Brazilian Serie A, left a final score that reflects the intensity seen on the field.
Corinthians took the lead in the 21st minute with a goal from Maycon, assisted by Matheus Bidu. Vasco, however, did not back down and constantly sought the equalizer, which came in the 59th minute through a penalty converted by P. Vegetti.
Vasco’s joy was short-lived, as Corinthians regained the lead in the 69th minute thanks to a goal from Gui Negao, assisted by Matheuzinho. When it seemed that the match was tilting towards the visitors, Gustavo Henrique extended Corinthians’ lead in the 85th minute with a goal assisted by R. Garro. However, Vasco showed their fighting spirit and Rayan managed to reduce the deficit in the 90th minute with a goal, assisted by C. A. Gomez, sealing the final draw.
