Bahia Secures Victory in Tense Match Against Vasco da Gama
Rio de Janeiro – In a hard-fought match at Estádio São Januário, Bahia edged out Vasco da Gama in a game that, while not overflowing with goals, was certainly high on intensity and cautions. The visiting team, with a lower possession percentage (38%), managed to be more effective in front of goal, capitalizing on one of their few opportunities.
Luciano Juba opened the scoring for Bahia in the 22nd minute, assisted by Everton Ribeiro, a result that ultimately proved decisive.
