Valerenga Dominates Sarpsborg 08 FF in Oslo with a Goal Fest
Oslo, August 17, 2025 – In a match held at the Intility Arena, Valerenga showcased their offensive prowess by decisively defeating Sarpsborg 08 FF. With an even possession of 50% for both teams, it was Valerenga’s effectiveness in attack that made the difference.
E. Sorensen shone with a brace in the first half, scoring at the 18th and 42nd minutes, assisted by H. Bjordal and M. Ofkir, respectively. In the second half, Valerenga continued to dominate, with goals from Vinicius Nogueira in the 75th minute and M. Ofkir in the 77th minute, the latter assisted by H. Bjordal once again.
Sarpsborg 08 FF, despite having a similar number of corners (6 against 5), struggled to create real danger, with only 2 shots on target compared to Valerenga’s 9. The match also had moments of tension, reflected in the yellow cards shown to players from both teams, one for Valerenga and two for Sarpsborg. Valerenga had 19 total shots, against the 9 of its opponent.
