Brann Triumphs Over Valerenga in Thrilling Oslo Encounter
Brann secured a victory over Valerenga in an exciting match at Oslo’s Intility Arena, part of the 2025 Eliteserien’s round 5. The final score was 4-2, reflecting the intensity of the game.
Brann started strongly, scoring two goals in the first half thanks to Erik Kornvig (4th minute) and Even Gudmundsson (36th minute). However, Valerenga fought back in the second half, narrowing the gap with goals from M. Brajanac (48th minute) and M. Riisnaes (53rd minute). But Brann held firm and regained their advantage with a goal from Martin Sande (82nd minute) and sealed the win with a penalty converted by Andreas Heggebo in the 90th minute.
Despite the defeat, Valerenga had more shots (20 to 11), although with less accuracy (5 on target compared to Brann’s 4). Brann dominated possession (54%) against Valerenga’s 46%. Both teams received multiple yellow cards: three for Brann and two for Valerenga.
