Utrecht convincingly defeated Ajax 4-0 in a thrilling Eredivisie match played on Saturday, April 20th, 2025, at the Stadion Galgenwaard in Utrecht, Netherlands. Bas Nijhuis officiated the game.
Utrecht’s clinical finishing proved the difference, capitalizing on their chances against an Ajax side that dominated possession (69%) but lacked the cutting edge in attack. S. Haller opened the scoring for Utrecht in the 29th minute, assisted by S. Horemans. M. Rodriguez scored a brace (52nd and 63rd minutes), assisted by Y. Cathline and O. Fraulo respectively. P.
