Uruguay Dominates Peru in Montevideo with a Resounding Victory
Montevideo, Uruguay – In a match played at the Estadio Centenario, Uruguay asserted its dominance over Peru, demonstrating superior gameplay and effectiveness in front of goal. The match, valid for Matchday 17 of the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, ended with a clear victory for the “Celeste” team.
From the beginning, Uruguay controlled the ball, maintaining 62% possession throughout the match. The Uruguayan pressure soon paid off, with a goal by R.
