Urawa Red Diamonds Triumphs Over Yokohama F. Marinos in Thrilling Saitama Match
Urawa Red Diamonds defeated Yokohama F. Marinos 3-1 in a thrilling match at Saitama Stadium 2002 this Saturday, in the 11th round of the J1 League. Despite Yokohama F. Marinos dominating possession (61%), Urawa Red Diamonds proved more clinical in attack.
Matheus Savio opened the scoring for Urawa in the 45th minute, followed by a goal from R. Watanabe in the 47th. Yokohama F. Marinos pulled one back in the 59th minute with a goal from R. Yamane, assisted by A. Uenaka. However, Danilo Boza sealed the victory for Urawa with a goal in the 88th minute, assisted by G. Haraguchi.
