Thrilling Draw in Craiova: Rapid and Universitatea Craiova Share the Spoils
Craiova, Romania – A vibrant match at Stadionul Ion Oblemenco ended in a draw between Universitatea Craiova and Rapid. Despite the clear dominance in possession for the home team, with 63%, and a higher number of shots (21 against 6), Rapid proved to be a tough and effective opponent.
Rapid took the lead in the 16th minute thanks to a goal by T. Christensen. Universitatea Craiova’s response was not long in coming, and in the 29th minute, A. It seemed that the visiting team would take the victory, but in the last minute of regular time, S. Nsimba converted a penalty for Universitatea Craiova, sealing the final draw.
