Hard-Fought Draw Between Universitatea Cluj and Petrolul Ploiesti in Sibiu
Sibiu witnessed a tight and contested match between Universitatea Cluj and Petrolul Ploiesti, which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Stadionul Municipal. The match, valid for the fifth round of the regular season of the Romanian Liga I, was marked by intensity and opportunities at both ends of the pitch.
Universitatea Cluj dominated possession with 67%, but struggled to convert that superiority into clear scoring chances. J. Lukic put Cluj ahead in the 44th minute with a goal after an assist from D. Nistor, taking the lead into halftime.
