Universidad de Chile beats Everton de Viña in an exciting match
Santiago de Chile, November 10, 2024 – Universidad de Chile secured a 2-1 victory over Everton de Viña del Mar in an exciting match played at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos.
The opening goal came early, in the 3rd minute, with a goal by Mauricio Gabriel Guerrero Peña assisted by Leandro Fernández. The “U” team dominated the first half, maintaining 58% possession and generating 21 shots, 8 of them on goal.
Everton de Viña attempted to react in the second half and managed to score a goal in the 72nd minute thanks to Fernando Martínez, who received an assist from a teammate. However, the “U” managed to maintain the lead and eventually took home the three points.
