FCSB Overpowers Unirea Slobozia in Match Marked by Red Card
Slobozia – In a match held at May 1 Stadium, FCSB powerfully defeated Unirea Slobozia, demonstrating their superiority in possession and goal-scoring opportunities. The match, valid for matchday 20 of the Romanian Liga I, ended with a clear victory for the visiting team.
FCSB controlled the ball for most of the match, with 73% possession, generating constant attacks towards Unirea Slobozia’s goal. Despite the home team’s defense, FCSB managed to convert their dominance into goals. The first goal came in the 62nd minute, thanks to M. Lixandru, assisted by F. Tanase. The expulsion of D. Serbanica from Unirea Slobozia in the 56th minute further complicated the scenario for the home team. In the final minutes of the match, A. Stoian sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute, again assisted by F. Tanase.
Unirea Slobozia, despite playing at home, could barely generate danger, with only 4 shots, none of which were on target. Their limited possession and numerical inferiority after Serbanica’s expulsion greatly hampered their task.
