Cluj Secures Victory in Slobozia with Cordea’s Lone Goal
Slobozia, Romania – In a hard-fought match at the May 1 Stadium, CFR 1907 Cluj defeated Unirea Slobozia with a narrow 1-0 victory. The only goal of the game came in the 42nd minute, courtesy of an excellent finish by A. Cordea, assisted by M. Ilie.
The match was evenly contested in terms of possession, with Unirea Slobozia slightly edging it (51%) compared to Cluj’s 49%. However, Cluj proved more effective in front of goal, registering 7 shots on target out of their 9 total attempts, while Unirea Slobozia only managed to direct 2 of their 10 shots towards the opposing goal.
