Thrilling Draw at Stade Municipal de Petange
Petange, Luxembourg – A hard-fought and exciting match ended in a 1-1 draw between Union Titus Petange and Victoria Rosport at the Stade Municipal de Petange, in the second round of the National Division.
The match, played under a tense atmosphere, saw Union Titus Petange take the lead in the 51st minute thanks to a goal by Pepe Pereira Mendes, who capitalized on an excellent assist from Said Arab to beat the opposing goalkeeper. However, the home side’s joy would not last long.
In the 73rd minute, Mikail Arslan of Victoria Rosport, with a key assist from Albert Ferreira, managed to equalize the match, sealing the final draw. A game marked by intensity and midfield battles, although without a high volume of scoring chances. Union Titus Petange received a yellow card in the 30th minute to Noe Vechviroon. Neither team managed to clearly impose itself in ball possession or generate a large number of shots on goal.
