Unión La Calera snatched a last-minute victory against Huachipato in a closely fought match at the Estadio Municipal Nicolás Chahuán Nazar in La Calera. The game, part of the 4th round of the 2025 Chilean Primera División, ended with a narrow 1-0 win for the home side. Despite dominating possession (60%) and registering significantly more shots (19, 7 on target) than Huachipato, Unión La Calera had to battle hard for the win. The only goal of the game arrived in the 89th minute, scored by Sebastián Sáez, who capitalized on a rare opening to beat the Huachipato goalkeeper. The match was punctuated by several yellow cards: two for Unión La Calera (Sáez in the 24th minute and Campos Mosqueira in the 71st) and three for Huachipato (Villanueva in the 2nd, Velázquez in the 9th, and Martínez in the 75th). Despite Huachipato’s impressive defensive display, they were ultimately unable to prevent Unión La Calera from securing a hard-fought victory.
