Tractor Sazi Completes Comeback Victory in Thrilling AFC Champions League Match
Tabriz, December 22, 2025 – In a closely contested match held at the Yadegar-e-Imam Stadium, Tractor Sazi secured a significant victory over Al-Duhail SC with a final score of 2 to 1. The encounter, valid for the group stage of the AFC Champions League, was filled with excitement and key moments.
Al-Duhail SC took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to a penalty converted by B. Bourigeaud. However, Tractor Sazi did not give up, and in the 51st minute, S. Khalilzadeh equalized the score with a goal. The match continued with both teams seeking victory and alternating control of the ball, reflected in 52% possession for Tractor Sazi versus 48% for Al-Duhail SC. The tension became palpable with a yellow card shown to O. Khamrobekov of Tractor Sazi in the 55th minute and to Luis Alberto of Al-Duhail SC in the 81st minute. Finally, in the 90th minute, A. Hosseinzadeh sealed the victory for Tractor Sazi with a goal, assisted by D. Esmaeilifar, unleashing euphoria among the local fans. Although Al-Duhail generated 10 shots, only 2 were on target. Tractor Sazi, with 14 shots, showed greater effectiveness in front of the opposing goal. Japanese referee Ryo Tanimoto controlled the match without major incidents.
