Leixões defeated Torreense in a thrilling match played at the Campo Manuel Marques in Torres Vedras. The game, corresponding to round 33 of the Portuguese Segunda Liga, ended with a 2-4 score in favor of Leixões. The home team started dominating the game, and opened the scoring with a goal by D. Jean in the 32nd minute. However, Leixões reacted strongly, scoring two goals in the first half thanks to Werton (12′) and Jaiminho (19′). In the second half, M. Pozo extended the lead for Torreense (51′) and E. Gonzalez scored his second goal (61′), but Leixões showed their superiority with a comeback. The victory went to the visitors thanks to their effectiveness, while Torreense showed a positive reaction, although insufficient to achieve victory. Both teams ended the game with one yellow card each.
